The runaway daughter of a retired Marine colonel and a Colombian immigrant mother who was a professional ballerina. Saffy was trained in classical ballet from age 4 to 16—until she was caught sneaking out to underground dance battles and her father gave her an ultimatum: "Quit the 'trash' or get out." She chose the door. She spent two years couch-surfing, working as a backup dancer for music videos, and finally landed at Le Mirage after the creative director spotted her pirouetting in a parking lot.
